This reminds me of something from Schopenhauer: “Fortune may always change, but not character. Therefore, subjective blessings, — a noble nature, a capable head, a physique, in a word, mens sana in corpore sano, are the first and more intent on promoting and preserving such qualities than on the possession of external wealth and external honor.”

I think it’s true.

The question for Pierre is whether or not he can change his character or not. It’ll be a tough road.

For my friends and family, love. For my enemies, durian fruit.
