I didn’t get around to watching Moonlight until last week. I’m glad I finally did. It’s a pretty good film.

One thing I’ve been thinking about whenever I think about the movie is that its hyper-expressive subjectivity is very reminiscent of Scorsese’s Raging Bull. Those two films, now that I think of it, even share similar subject matter: the problems of masculinity.

I’ll definitely want to see Moonlight at least one more time in the theater. It’s worth it.
